NO more sleeps! The day is here. Finally! And it's raining, cloudy and cool - 11 C - here. In Brisbane, where we are headed, it's 17 C at 2:30AM, and the high for today (Friday) is 24 C!!! And sunny!! The day we arrive (their Sat), will be 23 and sunny, with lows of 17 C. Even the lows will be warmer than the highs here! But I am glad for the rain we've already recieved and the rain that is still coming. Driving out to Altona to see my mom yesterday, we saw an awful lot of dirt blowing north to Churchhill!
So, a few more errands (for Jer) and a bit of cleaning and organizing at home here for me, and then we can pack the last minute items, and off to the airport we go!!!!!!!!!! 22 hours from the time the plane leaves Wpg, until we land in Brisbane.

WELL!!!!! It's FOUR (4) more sleeps, and we leave for Australia! The concept of going to Australia is exciting, but having done that long flight once before.......well, THAT , is not exciting. In fact, I am just a little bit concerned; okay, worried! It's a long way, three take offs, three landings, three times in the air, and 14 hours over the water - in ONE stretch.....well, it's somewhat scary!! We must love our son a LOT, to do this again!!! It will be GREAT, absolutely wonderful to see our son again. And our daughter in law to be. Now... we need to get those suitcases out of the rafters, and then it's time to start packing. What to bring......?
