We are here!!! Day two in Brisbane. A very green, sub tropical city. Now, at 10:30 AM it is 25 C and feels like 31 C. Jerry made biscuits for breakfast, which we enjoyed outside on the patio with Andrew and Bella. I managed to sleep until 3AM, then was wide awake. At about 4:30 the birds started 'singing' and finally around 6 AM I got up, and went and sat outside. It was already warm, the aroma of the early morning was just great!! Saw and heard some kookaburra birds, butcher birds, and a bunch of other birds I don't know the name of....yet! The bugs, birds and butterflys all seem to be very colorful here. It's Labour Day wkd here, and soon we'll be on our way to see the Gold coast with Andrew and Bella. It's called the Gold Coast, because the beaches look gold!
